I
highly recommend doing the research on an online company before you spend
your hard earned cash.
There are many companies out there
ready to take your money. Some companies have been around for years and
some are the fly by night. How can you tell the difference? Well,
sometimes it can be difficult. One suggestion I have is to use the Better
Business Bureau at http://www.bbb.org.
Get familiar with this web site. It is a great resource for information
like... lemon laws, auto repairs and services, auto service contracts
(extended warranties). Also you will find
information related to the company you are about to give your money to, or
may be not. If they are not listed beware.
Simple questions to ask yourself while
doing the research.
How long has the company been in
business?
How long has this company been doing
business under this name?
Is the company a member of the Better
Business Bureau? If you get this one correct, it may save you many
headaches.
Remember a website name may not be the
companies name. There are several reason companies have multiple web
sites. This does not mean they are dishonest. Check out who the parent
company is and do the research on them and the warranties they provide.
Some companies change their name once a complaint or issues arise.
So remember do the research. Don't be
fooled by the intimidation of the internet. It can be a very useful tool.
An Auto Warranty is an
important investment for you and your family.
When purchasing an Auto Warranty, you must see
the actual Auto Warranty contract BEFORE you
buy. Do not pay anyone anything to view an Auto
Warranty contract. An Auto Warranty is serious
business. We only recommend companies whose Auto
Warranty programs are tried and true. When
dealing with a company on an Auto Warranty,
check the BBB and independent sources for an
